The Webascent Toolbox
Every Webascent site incorporates the Webascent Toolbox – a powerful yet quick and easy to use tool that enables the contents of each page in the site to be re-organised and edits made to images and text.
The Webascent Toolbox runs directly in your browser, so there's no extra software to download and install. There is a simple and secure log-in process that allows the owner of the site to open the Toolbox for page editing. Quickly. Easily.
Organise your page
The Webasecent Toolbox allows the site’s owner to re-organise the content of each page (paragraphs, links, images etc.) using the simple copy and paste procedures familiar from most basic word processing programmes. With the Webascent Tooolbox it's easy to add, delete and re-arrange the information displayed on your pages.
Text Editor
The Toolbox allows you to edit text, add links, change formatting and create numbered and bulleted lists. Incorporating real-time spell-checking, the Toolbox makes it easy to find and fix errors in the text, before they make it onto the site.
Image Library
The Toolbox enables you to create a library of images for use on your website, to which new photos can be easily uploaded from your computer, creating a highly functional collection of pictures for adding to your site's pages.
You always have an accessible bank of images from which to choose to keep your site fresh and visually interesting.
Image Editor
To change an image on a page, select a picture from the library which can then be scaled, cropped and positioned to fit on the page easily – no photoshop skills required! The Toolbox's clever mechanics ensure that the image's dimensions end up fitting perfectly to the designated space.
Publish
All these changes to the site's pages are viewable on the page with our live preview function. Once they are ready and you are happy with the results, a single click on the publish button saves them to your web-server.
Your Site, Your Content
Traditionally, you would prepare the text and the images for your new website and pass them to your web designer to insert into the layout. With the Webascent Toolbox you don't have to pay for the designer's time because you can put them in yourself.
Once we have designed and built your site, you have guidance using the Toolbox until you have the results you want and the new website goes live.
