The Dihedrals Group has brought together a small team of individuals with a range of skills and business background. Our focus is on using new technologies and communication media to enhance business practice, as well as making it more efficient.
Background to Webascent.
The Webascent system was conceived in response to a clearly defined need. All sorts of organisations, specifically small businesses across many sectors but also clubs, teams, societies and individuals, need websites. Increasingly so. But for many of these, traditional design agencies are too costly and time consuming. We have used our many years of experience in writing software, in graphic and web design, and of operating in small businesses as well as building websites for them, to develop a system that solves this problem.
The Webascent system is built on a set of premises that we have learned from experience. It is important –
- to keep the costs down. The process needs to be efficient as possible, saving both time and money.
- not to skimp on the design and technical elements. Just because a site is relatively cheap doesn't have to mean that it is visually disappointing and functionally problematic. At Webascent we only build elegant sites that are attractive to look at and that work.

to alleviate as much of the stress from the customer as possible.

We designed Webascent to play a similar role in the process of creating websites for our clients. We can design and build well functioning sites, but we believe our system also reduces the stress of the whole process for all our customers. Equally, we work to understand the business needs of every customer so that each site performs its ultimate function – it generates business and increases profitability.
